Purlins and Eaves Beams
Zed Purlins, C Sections and Eaves Beams are fixed to the rafters, sides and gables of the building to support the Roofing and Cladding Sheets in use. They will vary in size and thickness according to the size of the building.
Zed Purlins and C Sections are used extensively in the shed building industry to make the main frame of the building, and the span (width) of the building together with wind loading will determine the size of Zed or C Section used.
The Eaves Beam is a major structural component of the building, the Eaves Beam supports the Roof Sheets, Wall Sheets and Gutter of the building and bolts directly to the Cleat Section.
